Seeking a dedicated and nurturing ‘preschool and junior’ dance teacher
Elite Dance is seeking a dedicated, nurturing, joyful and positive dance teacher for our signature preschool program ‘Little Jewels Dance’ at West Gosford. Someone who takes pride in nurturing a dancers’ journey right from the beginning, who loves to watch the joy of dance develop through strong connections with their students and who can bring magic and sparkle to every encounter.

Our preschool program forms the basis of this and our teaching team adore getting to watch our students grow through our programs as they progress.
To be the right candidate for this role, you will:
- Be a welcoming, kind, nurturing teacher with a genuine love of teaching young children
- Be trained in ballet and able to teach both ballet and basic tap steps in class
- Be able to design lesson plans that align with our curriculum with clear learning outcomes, progression, and goals for students
- Be able to form lasting connections with your students, their parents, and your team members
- Experienced and confident in leading and engaging a class of young children
- Have good knowledge of early childhood development and milestones, or be keen to learn
- Align with our studio values and keep them at the heart of your lessons
- Have a desire for personal and professional growth and learning
- Be a committed team player, supporting your fellow team members and the studio
- Be able to commit to a regular teaching schedule for a full calendar year
- Be reliable, honest, professional and accountable
- Be confident with using online systems for team communication and general administrative tasks
- Have a current working with children check
- Currently be able to commit to Friday afternoon and Saturday morning classes (with the view of adding to this in the near future).
The right addition to our team may also be offered teaching classes in our other programs, and workshops if suitable. We are seeking another member of our dance family, not just a teacher. Someone who will thrive in our studio and in turn lift their students up. Our tight knit team is here to support each other. Elite Dance is a small but well-established studio on the Central Coast, with purpose-built premises. Immediate training and start for the right candidate.
